The newly crowned MISS SAN ANTONIO USA 2006 is Valerie Pro. Valerie is 20 years old and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, with hazel eyes and brown hair. She is a student at the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in Communication and works part time as a Sales Associate. Her ambition is to complete her communications degree and graduate Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She also envisions marriage and a family one day. Valerie enjoys volunteering and community service, being a dance instructor, writing poetry and acting. Valerie is an Advocate/Mentor for Children's Advocacy Center, the founder of "Quality of Life" program, related to a "Saint" and published poet. She was also a semi-finalist at MISS TEXAS USA 2004 & 2005. She will represent San Antonio in the statewide, televised MISS TEXAS USA pageant which will be held in Laredo, Texas on Sunday, June 25, 2006.
