How do I enter the Beauties
of America Pageant?
Download and fill out the
Application/Entry Affidavit. It should be typed or hand
printed legibly. Select a recent photo and print your name
on the back of it. The photo and application/affidavit are
for office use only; the judges will not see either. The
photo does not need to be professional and it will not be
returned to you. Mail the above items and your
non-refundable $300.00 deposit, or payment in full to the
National Office. Once we receive and approve your
application, you will become an official delegate in the
2013 Beauties of America pageant! If you are not accepted as
a delegate your deposit or payment in full will be returned
to you.
What is the entry fee?
The entry fee is $950.00 (payment options available). It
helps cover some of the expenses involved in producing this
pageant. Payments can be made by PayPal, Credit Card, Money
Order or Cashier’s Check made payable to Diverse Dreams, LLC
or Beauties of America. No personal, business or company
checks are allowed.
Is my hotel room included in the entry fee?
No, your entry fee does not include your hotel room.
When do I receive a crown and sash?
Your crown and sash will be ordered when your entry
fee is paid in full. It takes up to 5 weeks to
receive them, and then they will be mailed to you.
What is the deadline date to enter the Beauties of
America Pageant?
June 15, 2013 is the entry deadline. Keep in mind
your crown and sash will not be ordered until your entry fee
is paid in full.
July 1, 2013: All entry fees must be paid in full by
this date. No exceptions. All required and optional
paperwork is due by this date, and all fees for program book
advertisements must also be received by this date. This
includes all required delegate paperwork, ad copy,
pre-ordered tickets and program books, pre-ordered photo and
video packages.
Is marital status important?
Delegates may be single, married, widowed or divorced. She
may or may not have children.
What age categories are there?
Age categories are 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s.
Are any entry fee discounts offered?
Delegate referral – If you refer a delegate and she competes
in the 2013 pageant you will receive $25.00 off your entry
fee, per delegate, limited to four (4) delegates.

Is my entry fee refundable?
Due to pre-pageant cost, your entry fee is non refundable.
Who pays my entry fee?
You may pay your own entry fee, or seek sponsors to assist
you.
What are my payment options?
Each delegate is required to pay a $300.00 deposit with the
Application/Affidavit. The balance of the entry fee is due
by July 1, 2013. Delegates can pay by credit card,
cashier’s check, money order, or PayPal.
If I do not compete in the pageant after entering and
paying fees, can I receive a refund?
The Beauties of America pageant will not refund any fees
paid to participate in the national pageant. This includes,
but is not limited to, entry fees, ad page fees, tickets
purchased, etc.
Is my entry fee transferable to a subsequent year if I
decide not to compete for any reason?
The national office understands that sometimes life
circumstances will change your plans. Therefore your entry
fee deposit of $300.00 may be transferred to the next
subsequent competition year only (i.e., 2013 to 2014). This
decision is at the sole discretion of the national office.
Will you assign a roommate to me?
No, we will not assign a roommate to you since you are
responsible for your room fee.
Is there a mandatory ad page?
Yes, each delegate is required to sell one full page
ad. The full color, full page ads sell for $300.00 each. Ad
pages can be valuable tools to help you recruit sponsors.
These pages may be laid out however you like within design
specifications. They should include your name and a photo of
you with sponsors information or wording of your choice
(subject to approval). The Program Magazine is a full color
publication; therefore, all ads must be full color.
Is there a minimum mandatory ticket sales quota?
There is no mandatory ticket sales quota. However, the more
people you have in the audience cheering you on the better
you feel on stage! Tickets for the 2013 Beauties of America
national pageant may be ordered in advance. A limited amount
will be sold at the door. Tickets are $45.00, general
admission and include a program magazine. All attendees must
purchase a ticket, regardless of age.
How many judges will judge my division?
There are five (5) judges on the judging panel and they will
judge all phases of the competition.
What are judges told to look for in a national queen?
Delegates will be judged on attitude, poise, personality,
appearance and beauty. Beauties of America titleholders must
be articulate and possess inner as well as outer beauty.
They must have a sense of confidence and purpose, and be
able to communicate effectively while being able to manage
the responsibility of being a Beauties of America
titleholder.
What are some of the duties of the national queens?
* Titleholders are required to make at least one (1)
appearance per month.
* Promoting the Beauties of America Pageant and the motto of
‘Celebrating Beauty and Achievement at Every Age.’
* Serving as a role model.
* Representing charitable causes and working on public
service projects.
* Making appearances at a variety of events, banquets,
hospitals, trade shows, benefits, retail outlets, etc.
* Working with the national office and its sponsors;
appearing in advertising and promotional campaigns and
activities.
* Cooperating with, and working under the direction of the
National Director, Public Relations Director and pageant
staff.
* Returning to the 2014 pageant (at your own expense) to
crown your successor.
Will we know who the judges are prior to competition?
Delegates will not know who the judges are prior to
competition.
Who owns the Beauties of America pageant?
The Beauties of America pageant is independently owned,
produced and directed by Diverse Dreams, LLC. , located in
Helotes, Texas. The name, logo or ‘slogan’ may not be used
without written permission from Diverse Dreams, LLC.
